Athena

The project is a wearable device that can detect a seizure by monitoring for certain motion patterns. When the seizure occurs it will notify a central gateway module that the seizure is happening and the module will communicate the alert to a relay in order to turn off appliances connected to an appliance disable device at home. The central gateway module will log motion patterns to be analyzed by a caregiver. Another feature is that the central module will notify a caregiver or family member that the seizure is happening by text messages or email.
